He was born in Everett, Massachusetts to the late John P. and Catherine E. (Gilday) Dunphy. John worked as an estimator for many years for DeLuca Fence Company, Methuen, MA while living in Raymond, NH with his wife and children. He was a hard-working man who loved his family and cherished his grandchildren.

When John learned of his illness, he said, “I’ve loved Palm Coast so much, but I can imagine how much better heaven will be.” He looked forward to going ‘home’ to his Maker, and to be with his beloved son Luke.
