John Edward "Leroy" Nickerson, age 53 0f Lake Mary, Florida, passed away Saturday April 23, 2011 with his loving family at his side. Born in Los Angeles, California August 5, 1957 to James Victor Nickerson Sr. and Lavieta Newman Nickerson he attended Moon Valley High School in Phoenix, Arizona before moving to Minnesota and then to Florida. He worked in the construction industry. He loved the beach, surfing,dirt bike riding and NASCAR. His favorite driver is Kasey Kane. He also loved animals and even has a dog named Kasey Kane. There are no life celebrations planned at this time. The family plans to scatter his remains at a few of his favorite places at his request. He leaves to cherish his memory his mother Lavieta Nickerson, a brother JamesVictor Nickerson Jr. and a sister Victora Lynette Laurence.
