I never had the chance to meet Jack, but ever since I started singing with A Capella Texas a few years ago, I've been a great admirer of his key role with Power Play. He was my model bass. I'd intended to just call him up and thank him for his inadvertent inspiration. But time ran out. Jack's legacy to me is Don't Wait to thank those I admire.

I got to know Jack when we hired him as the new director of the Suncoast Statesmen. He was a task master who worked hard to get the best out of us. He will be missed.
