John L Gutmann, age 86, died on January 26, 2022 in Omaha, NE.
John is survived by his daughter, Terri (Mike) Maier, of Omaha, NE; his daughter, Jenn (Scott) Sewell, of St Peters, MO; three siblings, seven grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Gladys L Gutmann, his parents and five siblings.
A funeral mass for both John and Gladys is scheduled for Thursday, February 3, 2022 at 10:30 am at St Stephen the Martyr Catholic Church, 16701 S St, Omaha, NE 68135 with a reception to follow at the Parish Center. All are welcome to attend and celebrate John and Gladys’ lives. The funeral can also be viewed via livestreamed at https://vimeo.com/671247240/f0d0908382
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the Shriners Hospitals for Children online at https://lovetotherescue.org. An additional celebration of John and Gladys’ lives will be held in St Louis, MO at a later date. Burial will occur shortly thereafter in Carrolton, Il.
