Daddy, there are so many things in my heart that I want the world to know about the fine man you were. Throughout your life you lived life to the fullest and I was lucky enough to share many adventures with you. I loved you so much and was proud to be your daughter. You always showed kindness and compassion to everyone you met and they’re lives were enriched for knowing you. Your funny stories will live on as we tell them many times over for years to come. Someday we will be together again but until then take comfort in knowing how much you are loved and how like you I am and that’s a wonderful thing! Live in peace with our Lord.
    Your first daughter Mary Elizabeth.

Just some of the over 300 gold medals he won in the senior Olympics. He was so proud of that accomplishment.
