John “Moe” M. Gordon, 64, of The Villages, a beloved husband, father, brother and grandfather passed away peacefully on January 30th, 2017 in his home surrounded by family.
He is survived by his wife Karen of 40 years; his son John (Carrie) of Atlanta, GA, son Scott (Melissa) of Orlando, FL, and grandchildren William and Addison Gordon. Also survived by his mother, Alexandria, sisters Patty DeMaria and Eileen Evans and brother Robert Gordon.
Moe was born on March 22, 1952 in Oceanside, NY and graduated from Uniondale High School. After raising a family and spending 22 years in Atlanta they moved to The Villages in 2005. John was employed by Spartan Electronics as a Product Technical Leader. He was the type of husband and father that always put family first, thrived in helping others, and a man who lived life to the fullest. Moe loved spending free time with Karen, bike rides, antique shopping, weekend trips to New Smyrna Beach, and visiting his children and grandchildren and grand puppies.
A celebration of life is scheduled for February 11th in The Villages.
