John F. Navikas, 79, of The Villages, FL passed away on November 21, 2017.  He was born May 25, 1938 to the late Victor and Ruth Navikas in Lancaster, PA.  He is survived by his wife, Eileen Navikas; sons, Chris (Kim) Navikas and John Navikas; daughter Katlyn Navikas all of Lancaster, PA; David (Marie) Navikas of Naples, FL; sister Nancy (John) Johnson of Fayetteville, NC and many nieces and nephews.  Additionally John is survived by the children of Eileen, her son Donnie Shenk of Winnie, TX and his children and grandchildren along with Eileen’s daughter, Cherly Adamson of Lancaster, PA and her children.  Born and raised in Lancaster, PA he graduated from Franklin & Marshall College, in Lancaster, PA in 1960 and after serving 6 years in the Air Force returned Lancaster where he was employed in various managerial capacities with a local manufacturing firm until 1990.  After which he became an independent manufacture’s sales representative, associated with the sales firm United Components, Inc., serving the HVAC industry until retirement in 2006.  He then continued in a technical sales support function to United Components, Inc.  A memorial service will be held at a later date in Lancaster, PA.  In lieu of flowers please make donations to Villagers for Hospice, 601 Casa Bella, The Villages, FL 32162 or the charity of your choice.
