Obituary

John Howard Neligh III, known as Jack to his family and friends, died on July 19, 2023, in Venice, Florida. He was 81 years old.  Jack was born and raised in Pitcairn, Pennsylvania.  He is survived in life by his partner Debbie Crews, her son Jeremy Crews, his wife Salina and their two children Anderson and Ronan.  Jack has three daughters Jody, Kim (husband Ray), Lisa (husband Matt), and seven grandchildren; Jimmy, Kayla, Jessica, Alyssa, Ally, Jacob, and Zach.  Jack also leaves behind five siblings Patty, Sharon, George, Cindy and Matthew.

As a young man Jack served in the United States Navy.  He moved to Englewood Florida in 1969 to work for his dad managing Deer Creek Mobile Home Park, which he later owned and ran with his ex-wife Charlotte.  For many years Jack was a member of the Lemon Bay Sunrise Rotary.  He volunteered his time and talents to help others in the Englewood community.  Jack’s mischievous smile and heartwarming laugh will be greatly missed.

A celebration of life will be held at the park on August 26, at 1:00pm.  If you would like to honor Jack’s memory, donations can be made to the American Heart Association.

May his family find peace at this time.
Jack was always interesting and engaging during our streetside chats. He liked to share Navy stories since my family had a Navy history.
His buzzing around in his cart will be missed.
May God bring him into the light of heaven and bless his soul.

We will greatly miss his smile and arrivals at the park.
I'm sure he's watching over the girls and grands from Heaven. May God grant peace to his family in this sad time. Fair winds and following Seas my friend, until we meet again.
