Forever in my mind are the countless hours spent at the home of my cousins, the Wilson's, where my late brother Bob also once roamed with Tom and John, when we were all just little boys playing in the Choptank River in Cambridge, Maryland.

You will be sorely missed. I was one lucky girl to have you as my father growing up; walking me to the altar on my wedding day; being Pop Pop to your grandsons and being my friend. I will always hold you close to my heart and remember you as kind, loving, intelligent, fun, sweet and caring. Knowing that you are not suffering, are in a better place and I will see you again makes me content. I love you and will always keep my memories of you close by.
    Love,
    Penny

I'll never forget the day my mom told me that "Mr. Wilson" moved across the street! She acted like Dennis the Menace for years. It was a sweet time in our families' lives. I remember teaching him how to play racquetball - or at least attempting it; I don't think he ever came back for that second lesson! He was especially kind to my mother especially in the years after my dad passed away. It was very special to my mom when John and Joan came to NC to visit when she was staying with me. I'll never forget his reaction to the bed in our guest room. (I'll keep the remarks to myself but they were as funny as he was). Another fun memory was teaching him and Joan how to use their smart phones, setting up their profiles and ring tones. It was a blessing to know him and he will be missed.
