Obituary
John Terrill Walters II, 71, passed away February 8, 2017. He was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma on December 13, 1945 to John Terrill and Chloe Walters. John graduated from Oklahoma State University and began teaching Vocational Agriculture in Delaware, Ok and then in Nowata, OK. In 1977 he started working at Mel Hatley Farms in Norman, Ok as the farm manager. After 9 years he moved to Ocala, Fl to work at Bridlewood Farm. He started Walters Fabrication and Welding in 1995 and ran it for 22 years until he passed away.
John loved the horse business, which he learned from his father. He enjoyed golfing, Oklahoma Sooners except when they were playing Oklahoma State Cowboys, going to auctions and spending time with his family and friends. He was a great husband, father, brother and friend. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed.
John is preceded in death by his parents John Terrill and Chloe Walters.
John is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Patti Walters; daughters, Kasey Gerber (Jim), Brandy Corbin (Mike); son, John Walters III (Krystal); sisters, Patsy Carson, Paula Walters, Pam Goldsmith (Steven); brother, Harold Walters; six grandchildren, Jordan, Erica, Mckenzie, Hailey, Logan, Jackson; three great grandchildren, Evelynn, Harper, Chloe.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, a donation can be made to Hospice of Marion County-Sylivia’s House or the American Cancer Society.
We are so sorry for your loss. What a wonderful man he was. He will be missed by all those who knew him. Sending our prayers and love to you all.

John was not only Brandys dad but also a great softball coach. He worked with our highschool softball team because Brandy played. He showed us great skills and patience....when we'd listen to it!!
I've always enjoyed the time we'd have at birthdays and homecomings. He will be missed very much.
