Obituary

JON ANTHONY RIDDELL, II

Jon Anthony Riddell, II, age 43, of Edgewater, passed away on Monday, November 9, 2015 at home surrounded by his loved ones.  He was born October 30, 1972 in Ilion, New York to Vincenzia and Jon A. Riddell, Sr.  He met the love of his life, Deborah S. Riddell, and married in November of 1997 and have been happily married ever since.  They have two wonderfully, amazing children, Ashley Nicole Satkunas (Sgt. Patrick Satkunas, II) and Jon Anthony Riddell, III; one grandson, Raiden Kalel Satkunas.  More than anything Jon loved and cared for his family and faithfully served the Lord.  He received his AA in biblical studies from the International Bible Training College to fulfill the call of God on his life in 2013.  He touched the lives of everyone he came into contact with and impacted all of those surrounding him.  Jon was a strong man, a loving man, and a man who stood on his unwavering faith through every season.  Also survived by his sister,  Lorie Ann Gates and family. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you honor Jon’s wishes by monetarily providing for his family.  The memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm on November, 20, 2015 at Relevant Church, 920 Beville Road, Daytona Beach, Florida 32119, with Pastors’ Chris and Liz Sarno officiating.

Debbie, I am so very sorry for Jon's passing. I knew how happy you all were from talking to you, and he was responsible for that happiness. Please let me know if there's anything I can do for you.

We have never seen a more loving husband and father. We thank God for Jon and the example of family love he showed us all. Our family is believing our Lord Jesus Christ will comfort you with peace that passes all understanding. Blessed to see the goodness of God in the land of the living through Jon. Love.

My nephew Jon was an awesome and super guy who I will miss more than I can describe. He was such a powerful example of what it means to be a Christian man, husband and father.
