Obituary
Jon was born In Baltimore, Maryland on March 22, 1966 to his mother, Marylou Sprankle.
Jon passed away on December 29, 2020. He is preceded in death by his mother. He is survived by his sister Robin.
Jon graduated from Catonsville Senior High School in 1984, where he was active in the drama department and proudly played captain Von Trapp from the Sound of Music. He enjoyed a career with Piedmont and USAir airlines for the next 18 years. He then returned to school to learn more about the film industry, which was his passion. He began working in the field of film production, and ultimately launched his own business – JMS Production Services Inc. He did everything from catering/craft services to commercials and conventions. Jon shared his positivity and made everyone feel special on every job that he worked. He had an awesome personality, big heart , and contagious laugh.
He was a great brother who always looked out for Robin. Jon was her best friend in the whole world!!
I am thinking of you often. I will miss our coffees... I still can't believe that you are gone. You were a light in the world, Jon Sprankle! Your kind and gentle soul is greatly missed. Thank you for being you - for caring about us all...your kindness and generosity meant a lot. I am sending prayers of love, light, and peace to you. ❤️
