Obituary
Joseph Beatrice, 81, of Titusville, FL died on Thursday, December 31, 2020 at VITAS Healthcare. He was born on March 16, 1939, the son of Gabriel and Alice Beatrice, in South Kingston, Rhode Island. He graduated from South Kingston High School (Wakefield) and joined the United States Army. Following that he began his engineering career in Huntsville, AL before moving to Titusville, FL in 1966, where he worked in the aerospace industry at the Kennedy Space Center for 42 years. He worked at Bendix, Boeing, McDonnell Douglas, and Lockheed Martin.
Joe was an avid golfer and he loved playing in the Bluegrass Partners band with the mandolin that he made by hand. He taught himself to play the mandolin, guitar, and the banjo. He enjoyed working in the yard, camping, and fixing anything that needed fixing, including cars and appliances.
He was preceded in death by his wife Nancy White Beatrice, and his parents. He is survived by two daughters Alyson Perrin (David) of Tallahassee, FL and Ashleigh Bulliner (Shawn) of Florence, SC, two stepdaughters Kim Southwell (Robert) of Leesburg, FL and Tina Garrett of Titusville, FL, his brother John Beatrice (Salli) of Sebring, FL, sister Jane Beatrice Womelsdorff (Dan) of Murfreesboro, TN, 8 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
