    Hi Grandpa,

This is your eldest Grandaughter-Sophia...I will always remember our walks along the tow-path and seeing turtles jump into the canal.

I’ll always remember you watching classic movies and the time I asked if the actors also saw in black and white and you gave me a lesson in common sense...lol.

Your love of dogs is absolutely a family trait, and rescuing Charlie with you was special for the whole family.

There is a joke about Jaws 2 that I still laugh about but is too long to write here.

You were obviously big presence in our family, and always supported our mother.

I know you visited me the night you passed, right as I was falling asleep in NY, and I thank you for that.

We would like to send our condolences to the family. It was fun going to the Devils game with Joe when they played the Rangers. We loved going to the horse races and see him work out his picks. Great fun will miss you Joe. You gave us a wonderful daughter in law.
