Obituary
Joseph Henry Cromwell passed away on Saturday October 6, 2018 at the age of 84. At his home in Port Orange, Florida.He was in the presence of his three children Mary Pane, Joseph Cromwell and Marian(Buffers) Stupin .As well as his devoted dog Charlie.
Joe was pre-deceased by his wife Nadalin (Chickie) Medich Cromwell, two daughters Loretta (Lolly) Hitt and Diana Cromwell. All of his siblings Tyrrel(Sonny) Cromwell, Robert Cromwell and Joan Perlinni.
He is survived by 8 grandchildren Nathaniel Cardaci, Sophia Verbiscar, Veronica Hitt, Nadalin N Cromwell, Joseph D Cromwell, Maxwell Bertalan, Christopher Cromwell and Julia Stupin.One great granchild Enzo Cardaci (Bighead) and other extended family members.
Joe served in the United states Marine Corp from 1951 to 1955.He was employed by the United States Postal Service retiring as postmaster in Bogota N.J. Upon retiring he moved from Teaneck, NJ to Holly Hill Fl.
He enjoyed the company of his family and friends .Joe was an avid New Jersey Devils Fan. He also had a great interest in thoroughbred horse racing

In the summers he would travel north to PA and N.Y. to visit with family , as well as “go home” to upstate N.Y. Lake George region. In August Joe and his family would attend Saratoga racetrack.
Joe had a witty sense of humor and truly enjoyed life to the fullest, which was an inspiration to those around him. He will be missed by all that knew him.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
This is your eldest Grandaughter-Sophia...I will always remember our walks along the tow-path and seeing turtles jump into the canal.
I’ll always remember you watching classic movies and the time I asked if the actors also saw in black and white and you gave me a lesson in common sense...lol.
Your love of dogs is absolutely a family trait, and rescuing Charlie with you was special for the whole family.
There is a joke about Jaws 2 that I still laugh about but is too long to write here.
You were obviously big presence in our family, and always supported our mother.
I know you visited me the night you passed, right as I was falling asleep in NY, and I thank you for that.
