Obituary

Joe Louise has passed away peacefully after a long illness. He has left behind his loving wife and friend of 37 years, Rachel. He is survived by his beloved children, Andrea and Anthony, his Brother Bill, and Bill’s family, and his loving Mother, Mary. He has two grandchildren, Jenna and Matthew. He dearly loved his Bother and Sister in-law, Rory and Sarahi Ingold. He also has a great number of additional family, and a multitude of friends.

Joe was best known by his laughter, humor, kindness, and hugs. If you were ever blessed by any of these traits of his, you remember him well. He was also known for his love of sports, and was an ardent fan of Syracuse teams, which was also his hometown. He was a history buff, and he loved B&W movies, especially classic monster movies.

He was indeed a sweet and good man. He loved people, and he will be greatly missed, but is now in the arms of our Lord Jesus.

Please celebrate him by signing in below with your name and thoughts. Light a candle, say a prayer, take a moment to remember. In lieu of flowers please donate to Zionsarmy.net, the ALS Association, or a Charity of your choice in Joe’s name.

I worked with Joe for nearly twenty years and his technical skills were the standard to which others were consistently compared. More importantly, and more memorably, though, Joe was among the kindest people I have ever met. If he saw that you were not at your best he was always there with some support – often in the form of a hug, actually! I have been truly blessed to have been able to know Joe for as long as I did. May God Bless Joe Louise and his family.

Joe, I didn't know you as well as others here, but I do know one thing - it takes a pretty great guy to deal with us when we were kids. I'm sad you're gone but know you're in good hands.

  39. Rachel Louise says:
    21 Nov 2022
To my love, my friend, and my rock. You loved me from beginning to end, and you never failed to tell me so. I knew that you were my best friend, and you knew I was yours. You were my secret keeper, and I knew your innermost secrets. You were my trusted life partner, and I trusted to you my life, and my sanity, and you never let me down. Mostly you could always make me laugh, and when you would do that, I knew that I loved you. You have given me enough memories for me to carry on without you, but, I will miss you everyday. I Love You, Joe.

    Rachel Louise
