Obituary

Following a fierce battle with Pancreatic Cancer, Joe entered into eternal rest at his home surrounded by family, while being comforted by his wife.  The relatives and friends of Joseph and Deborah Proudfoot are invited to attend the funeral service of the former at Sacred Heart Catholic church, 998 Father Donlon Dr, New Smyrna Beach, Florida on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Joe was born on August 2, 1948 to Joseph H. Proudfoot III and Elinor Margaret Proudfoot in Norfolk, Virginia.  Joe is survived by his wife Deborah A Proudfoot, Daughter Heather Palmer, Son, Joseph H Proudfoot V, Son in law Jeremy Palmer, Daughter in Law Julie Proudfoot, Grandchildren Octavius Palmer, Lexer Palmer, Ella Proudfoot, Charlotte Proudfoot, Mother in Law Sue Bigham, Beloved sisters Mary Jo Jennings and Ellen Ketterer, Brother in laws Roger Jennings, and Ken Ketterer, and many nieces and nephews. Joe graduated from Winter Park High School in 1966, and was a graduate of the University of Florida.  He was a member of the Theta Beta Pi Fraternity. Joe spent most of his career with the Clorox Corporation.  Joe held Management positions with the Sales Department for 28 years.     Memorial donations are requested to Pancreatic Cancer Research at Pelotonia.org in Joseph's name; The Little Sisters of the Poor 2325 N.
