Obituary

Joseph P. Kerins, age 73, who was born in Wilkes-Barre, PA to father Joseph Kerins and mother Elizabeth G. (Helfrich) Kerins, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2021.

Joe was a loving husband to Lois Kerins,  a father to Shawn Regan (Kimberle) and a loving grandfather to Kylee Regan. He is survived by his brothers Paul (Carol), Daniel (Rosa) and William and many nieces and nephews.

He proudly served our country in the United States Navy, and Joe worked for the Post Office at the Bulk Mail Center in Somerton, Philadelphia for 35 years. He also worked at Mallory Hill Country Club for 16 years in The Villages, FL.

Burial will take place at Florida National Cemetery at a date TBD. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Jude Children Research Hospital- Stroke Foundation In Joseph’s memory.

    I will miss you Uncle Joe. Thinking of memories of BBQs, Ryan sneaking into the front room to see if you were there, the great ketchup debate (Hunts or Heinz?), big salads, and my (now seemingly annoying) questioning about why golf is an entertaining sport.     We played golf together for many years my brother, and we both moved from Philly down to the Promised Land. May every shot in Heaven be a hole in one Joe!
