Obituary

Joseph Robert Lambert, 79, New Smyrna Beach Fl died May 5, 2011. He was born in Boston, Massachusetts. He served our nation in and retired from the US Coast Guard with 26 years of service. His service in the Coast Guard included a tour in Vietnam and the Korean War.  His hobbies included building model Coast Guard ships and reading. He leaves to cherish his memory his wife Germaine, children Diane Fairbanks, Donna Lambert, Denise Boutot, Robert Lambert, Ronald Lambert, 14 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.

    so sad to hear of your loved ones passing, RDC Lambert was the best teacher in the USCG as a young RD he always took the time to show you the rate and learn new things, I remember he would come by after hrs at SAR school to help with a problem. Always patient and kind. He was the only RD i knew who could do maneuvering board problems in his head…fair winds Chief and Shipmate.

    I googled the Lambert family and found this. Sorry to see Mr. Lambert is gone and gone to heaven. Don't know if you remember us. Avelino and Jo Ventura, children- Angela Rodriguez, Ernie Ventura, Ronnie Ventura and Michele Karlegan. Miss you guys. What a great childhood!

    I did not know RDCM Labert but as a fellow retired RDCM I just wanted to pass onto his family that his smile tells it all. His shipboard life is summarized in Psalm 107:23-31

    Just a quick note from the master chief's other family, the Radarmen of the USCG. thanks for your service and please know that a Radarman never dies, he only passes his Closes Point of Approach (CPA). We all have our personal flags at half-mast and Scopes On.

    You know I am realy going to miss you very much you were my rock when I was down and out about things,Well I am goig to be strong for Mom there will be ups and downs but we will get though it.You were the best dad in the world there will be so many memories of my childhood that will be carished by everyone.You will truly be missed I love you very much and always will,God will take very good care of you

    Pepe, You were and still will be the only man in my life who was there for me. You always knew that I deserved better and were there to tell me that. I only wish that you would have been around now for me to show you the wonderful things that im starting to become and the changes that you would be proud of. You gave us grandchildern so may wonderful memories when we were kids,I cant think of a better man to have as a grandfather. You will truely be missed, I love you.
