Dear Soucie Family--I had messaged Joe back in February to get a current address to get an invitation to him for the HHS Class of '78 40 year reunion and he had sent that info to me right away. Out of the blue a few days later, I noticed I had missed a video chat call from him so Jim and I called him back. It was so great to talk to him; he had us laughing so hard we were in tears and he had invited us to come and visit the next time we were in NSB. Every class reunion there is a display with photos (surrounded by candles) of those classmates who have left this world and it's a very powerful reminder of how precious life is. It will be sad to have to add Joe's picture to that memorial table. Prayers of comfort for all of you as you try to find your way through another profound loss for your family.

To my BEST BUDDY, MY BROTHER, MY LIFE LONG FRIEND,
I miss our daily facetime chats, and our late into the morning jam sessions over the net from your garage office. Never thought I'd be the one standing here alone today... We had an agreement Joe! What happened? My doctor called and left a msg. he needs to talk to me about all my tests. He called while I was on the road to come to your funeral, I'm almost afraid to hear what he has to say now. I already feel bad that you didn't have enough time! I guess you and the man up stairs had other plans, huh! I love you Joe, always have, always will... Your sister, Mary
