Obituary

Joseph Spagna, 69 of Ocala, FL, passed away on December 12th, 2024. He was born in Philadelphia, PA on March 17th, 1955, to Frank and Lucy Tucci Bressi. He graduated from Central Bucks High School West in 1974. He married Patricia Spagna in 1991.

Joseph started working at Doylestown Lanes from 1983-1992. He continued on to work at Willow Grove Naval Air Station from 1993-1998. Joseph began working for K-mart in PA in 1993 and continued working there until 2004. When he left K-mart, he began working at Big Lots in PA until 2007. When his family relocated to FL, he began working at Big Lots until 2020 when he retired due to heath issues.

Anyone who knew Joseph knew that he had a love for music and sports, specifically Bowling, WWE, and his all-time favorite teams, the Phillies and the Eagles.

Joseph is survived by his sisters, (Dina Roen, Theresa Spagna Miller, & Joanne Calciano), his wife (Patricia Spagna), his three children (Michelle Spagna, Amy Spagna & Joshua Spagna) and his granddaughter Avianna. He is preceded in death by his father, Joseph Oscar Spagna and stepparents Frank and Lucy Tucci Bressi.

We are saddened by his passing; however, we are glad that he is no longer in suffering. He will forever be loved and remembered by all of his family and friends.

Dear Joe"s family, I am so sorry for your loss. He was good guy and great friend. He was responsible for me seeing Elton John and Chicago. He and his buddy Joe ayres were going and allowed me to go with him. I still have the tickets in my scrapbook from the concert. I worked with him at his parents restaurant. Many of my family worked at Frankie and Johnnies. We had a great time! I will pass this on to my family. Prayers to your family from ours! The Cruices!
