Obituary
Joseph T. Cornell, 69, of Belleview, FL passed away December 19, 2016. Born in Boston, MA he came to this area 22 years ago. Mr. Cornell was well known throughout New England as an exercise rider in the Thoroughbred Industry. He later worked in the Belleview area as a Vet Tech for the Peterson Smith Equine Reproduction Center. He also enjoyed horse racing, was a car enthusiast and loved watching the Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He is survived by his brother, John Cornell of Rehoboth, MA; sisters, Leona Martin of Belleview and Mary Clayson of Ocala. He also loved dearly all his nieces and nephews and his beloved cat, Pretty Boy Floyd. A Celebration of Joseph’s Life will be held at a later date in Boston.
