    So glad I got to see Pop Pop Joe one more time in June. Thank you for loving my Grammy for 40 years. You will be missed.

    I didn't get to see Joe often since we live so far apart but we spoke frequently. In spite of his declining health and the difficult circumstances in his life, he always seemed to be able to recall a funny story and we ended the call smiling. He's at peace now, he will be missed.
