Josephine L. Campisi, 94 a winter resident of Poinciana died Thursday, May 31, 2012.  Josephine was born October 6, 1917 in Natick, Massachusetts to the late Philomina and Antonio Bartone.  She worked as a hairdresser for most of her life, but took great pleasure in designing jewelry as her later career.  Josephine was a the most amazing, positive and kindhearted person that her family and her friends knew.  She enjoyed designing and making jewelry to give away to her friends and to those that care for her in the last weeks of her life.  As the matriarch of the family her five daughters will deeply miss their devoted mother.  Josephine is survived by Diane Dias, Donna Campisi, Regina Campisi, Marcia Reynolds and Carla Cariglia; seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.  Services will be held at Christ the King Church, Mashpee, Massachusetts at a later date.  Services will be held at Christ the King Church, Mashpee, Massachusetts at a later date.

Nanny, I already miss you so much I it hurts. I can't believe I will never again kiss your beautiful face, hold your little hand or hear your sweet voice saying "I love you more!" You always believed in me, even when I didn't believe in myself. You were my biggest fan and I was yours. Even though my heart is breaking right now, I take comfort in knowing that you are now at peace and no longer in pain. You are with God and Grampy now. I know that you will be watching over me and I promise to continue to aspire to be all you believed I could be. What will the world do without you my sweet Grandmother? You touched so many lives and were loved by all. I love you so much more than I could ever express in words. Kisses and Hugs, Kimmie

There are just some people in your life that no matter how long it has been since you've seen them, they have touched your heart in a way in which you will never forget them. Your mom was one of those women. Really ahead of her time in becoming a business woman, she was someone to admire. May her memory be a blessing for all of you and give you strength in the days ahead.
