Obituary
Joshua Allen Rompilla (Josh), 44, passed away suddenly on October 20th, 2025, in Wildwood, Florida. Josh was born on March 2, 1981, to his parents, Beth Rompilla and Peter Rompilla, in Marietta, Ohio. Josh was a loving husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and father figure. There was nothing Josh enjoyed more than spending time playing video games with his son and pretending to enjoy wrestling so he could watch it with his daughter. Josh had two nephews and a niece that he loved as if they were his own. There was nothing that Josh wouldn’t do for any of his children. Josh was an artist and dad joke enthusiast who his family and friends will deeply miss.
Josh is survived by his wife, Diane Elaine Rompilla, and their children, Trinity Wright, Sophia Rompilla, and Oliver Rompilla of Wildwood, FL; his mother, Beth Rompilla of Smyrna, TN; his father, Peter Rompilla (Diane Rompilla) of Franklin, IN; his sisters, Autumn Rompilla, Sarah Rompilla, and Betsy Rompilla of Smyrna, TN; his nephews, Andrew Rompilla and Owen Rompilla; his niece, Layla Waller; his aunt Carol Myers (John Myers) of Muncie, IN; his uncle David Haffner (Jerrie Haffner) of Nashville, TN; and multiple cousins.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Fred E and Norma A Haffner of Yorktown, IN, and his cousin, Ashley Myers of Muncie, IN.
