Obituary

Joshua Michael Conway, 36, passed away peacefully at Ocala Regional Hospital in Ocala, FL, surrounded by his family on Wednesday, March 20, 2019.

Josh was born in Geneva, Alabama and graduated from Hope School in Marianna, FL, where he enjoyed playing basketball. After graduation he worked at the wood shop for ARC in Marianna, FL, and later moved with his family to Ocala, FL.  Josh’s life was filled with many interests and passions, from attending auto shows to collecting stuffed animals. He enjoyed nothing more than a good game of horse on the basketball court with his brother and was celebrated as the best fisherman in the family.  Josh will be remembered for his easy and loving personality, his unique laugher, his unmatched passion for monster truck rallies, and his ability to command the attention in the room. He was preceded in death by his grandparents Joe & Ludean Helms, James & Era Conway; uncles Royce Helms, Preston Haar.  He is survived by his mother Joyce Quick, Ocala, FL; father Michael Conway, Chipley, FL; a  brother; Terrence (Sarah) Conway, two aunts, JoAnn (Jeff) Nourse, Columbus, OH, Doris Marie Haar, Ocala, FL; uncle Charles (Stephanie) Helms, Graceville, FL; niece Ella Conway; and many cousins.

A Celebration of Josh’s Life will be held on Saturday, April 13 at 2 p.m. at Bread-Breakers Ministries located at 7325 E Hwy 25 Belleview, FL 34420.  All who knew Josh and would like to celebrate his life are welcome to attend.
