Obituary

Juan Carlos Ruiz age 58, of Apopka, Florida, peacefully passed away on June 28, 2024. Originally from Chicago, Illinois, the son of the late Edgar Ruiz and Rosemary Ruiz. Juan spent the majority of his life in Florida, he was a graduate of Homestead Senior High School. His friends and coworkers considered him as a brother and he had a knack for fixings things. Juan served in the U.S. Navy and afterwards traveled the world as a contractor. He is survived by his mom, sister and brother. Juan will be sorely missed, although his time was short on this earth, he is now in the hands of his Heavenly Father.

    A soldier I've known all my life. I will always have our memories of me being a kid around you engraved in my head. I have a son now, so please look over my family and watch me build my own memories. I love you so much my brother.

    Juan was loved by so many. I can’t find the words to describe how sad I am, and how much he will be missed. I appreciate all the great memories I have with him.

    Oh my I have no words to describe how I feel for my good friend. He will be missed and my prayers good out to his immediate family in this very sad day. His passing leaves me very sad and with memories that I had of Juan growing up.
