Obituary

With deep sorrow, we inform you that Juana Hermida, “Dina”, age 84, born in Milagro, Ecuador on May 15, 1941, passed away Sunday, November 02, 2025. Our beloved Dina will be in our hearts forever. Dina was well-known for her kindness and generosity and would go out of her way to help anyone in need. Which we are deeply grateful for her monetary and personal help. In addition to loving nature, she was an extremely accomplished seamstress and dress-maker who operated a successful business for many years. It was her dress-making business that brought her to her beloved Miami where she became a permanent resident in 1980. Dina was also an exceptional masseuse who was praised by her many loyal clients. In addition to being a beloved sister from her father side Balbina Hermida, and Natividad, and from father and mother Rubi (Blanca), Ninfa, Teresa, Noemi, and Lucia, she was a devoted mother, and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Manuel, and Julia Valenzuela Hermida, and a brother, Ernesto. She is survived by daughter Azucena of Colorado Springs, Colorado, daughter Sandra of North Port, Florida, and son Freddy, of Miami, Florida, her grandchildren Marlin, Cindy, Kylie, and Gabriella, and great grandchildren. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.
