Obituary
Judith K. Zerber, age 79, of The Villages Florida, died April 25, 2021, after a short illness.
Born December 7, 1941 in New Britain, CT, the daughter of Albert and Jenny Kubas, she grew up in New Britain and lived most of her life in West Simsbury, CT. Along with her husband Horst, Judy owned and operated a very well known restaurant in Plainville, CT called The Mo-No-Pole for 45 years. Judy was a graduate of Bay Path Junior College and was very involved in many organizations earlier in her life such as Cub Scouts, Blue Birds, Community Events and Garden Club.
Surviving is her husband of 59 years, Horst; son Kevin and daughter Pamela; and 3 Grandchildren, Remy, Tristan and Scarlett of California.
Judy had a deep love of animals and specifically dogs. In memory of Judy, donations can be made to the animal shelters in need – specifically the NewLifeForPaws.Org out of Aruba. Her daughter Pam is involved first hand with that organization helping save all of the homeless dogs in Aruba by supplying food and also transport off the island to their furever homes in the US. Please Venmo any donations you wish to make in her honor to this Venmo Account: @KZMeagher1 If you cannot Venmo and would still like to donate, please go to NewLifeForPaws.Org/Donate and you can use PayPal or a Credit Card.
I’m so sorry for your loss but I know Judy is peaceful now. She had a great life and was lucky she had you to care for her so wonderfully. May you find peace and joy in the memories she left you with. My love to you both
Jenny
