Obituary
Judy Ann Phillips, born on July 12, 1950, in Pavo, Georgia, passed away on July 24, 2024, after a lifetime of love and service. She spent over 20 years working for Hillsborough County at Hunter’s Green Elementary School, where she adored the special kids she worked with, and their parents loved her just as much. Judy was affectionately known as “Mrs. Judy” to many.
Judy was passionate about crochet, and everyone she met was likely to receive a blanket she had lovingly made. Her incredible kindness and generosity will be remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
Judy is survived by her daughters, Lisa Bell of Douglas, GA, and Lori Russell (Kelley Russell) of Umatilla, FL; her son, Curtis Gasque (Jessica Gasque) of Douglas, GA; and her brother, Jerry Sangster (Susan Sangster). She was also a beloved grandmother to Laynee, Kielee, and Maicee Bell, Spencer Reed, and Allie and Jenna Gasque.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald W. Phillips.
Judy’s legacy of kindness, love, and warmth will be cherished by her family, friends, and all those whose lives she touched.
