Obituary

Julianne Marie Weiler passed away on November 9, 2023, in North Fort Myers, Florida.  Julie was born in Beloit, Wisconsin where she grew up in a large and loving family.  She attended the University of Wisconsin and had a successful career as a Human Resource professional until her retirement in 2014 from Hewlett Packard.  In retirement Julie participated in many charitable activities, including the Pregnancy Careline Center of Port Charlotte where she served on the Board of Directors.  She was a devout Christian who celebrated her faith with friends and family in every place that she lived.  Nothing made Julie happier than time with her family and loved ones.  Her warmth and caring nature were seen and felt by everyone around her and will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her sister Pamela Holmstrom, her mother Anita Jane, her father Harry Krenz, and her stepmother Shirley Carlson. Julie is survived by her husband Scott Weiler, her stepdaughter Kim Weiler of Atlanta, Georgia, her brother Chip (Kathy) Krenz of Beloit, Wisconsin and many other nieces, nephews, cousins, and loving family members.

In lieu of flowers please send donations to the American Heart Association in Julie’s name.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Charlotte Harbor Yacht Club, 4400 Lister Street., Port Charlotte, Florida, on December 6, 2023, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.

I had the pleasure of meeting Julie 2 and a half years ago when she needed a ride to our neighborhood ladies luncheon. She was one of the kindest ladies I have ever met. She continued attending the luncheons and another ladies gathering often and it was always nice talking to her. My heartfelt condolences to Scott and her family. RIP Julie, May you be walking with our Lord.

The pregnancy help community of SWFL will miss you, Dear Julie. You came to the Careline just when we needed an HR Angel. You had wings then, already!
With love, Kim, Kathy, Brenda & Anne Camille

I worked with Julie at HP in HR for years. We continued to stay in touch since we both retired. In fact, she came to GA just a few weeks ago for a few of the “old cronies” from HR to catch up. She was a fabulous coworker and friend, and will be missed. I am so sorry for your loss.
