Pastor Julius Sullivan Threet Sr. was born on November 6, 1945, the third child of Willie & Emma Jean Threet. Affectionately known as “Peter” growing up in West Palm Beach Florida, along with his 4 siblings Carl, Brenda, Maryann, & Charles.
On May 9, 1965, Pastor Threet married the love of his life, Emily James a shy Georgia girl that caught his eye. They would both receive the baptism of the Holy Ghost within the same week and would form a formidable bond that prove to be unbreakable. From this union would come 5 children: Tangela, Julius, Kimberly, Tabitha and Charity.
Pastor Threet accepted the call to pastor in 1975 and moved his family to Kissimmee, Fl. His ministry would span well over 20 years. During this time Pastor Threet’s spiritual teaching would draw many. Pastor Threet had a Pastor’s heart, he never met a stranger, he loved people genuinely and made sure they knew it by his actions and encouragement throughout the years.
A printer by trade, his spirit was infectious in every office he ever worked. A genuine lover of Christ, Pastor Threet shared this Love to everyone that had the pleasure of meeting him. If you were around Pastor Threet you knew love, he was an inclusive person, no one would be left out. Pastor Threet loved to move about the country, you say let’s, he would say GO, an avid television watcher, his favorites were westerns, comedies and forensic shows. He also loved playing games, puzzles, etc. often found in the corner sitting on his IPad or on his phone trying to figure out bible trivia questions or get through a Phase 10 game (that was his favorite).
His greatest love was family, Pastor Threet was a Loving, generous, Intelligent person who would literally be the bridge that kept the family together. He loved his son Julius, who preceded him in death, he loved each and every one of his daughters and his grandchildren were his pride and joy.   On Thursday afternoon, March 4, 2021 at 4:15pm, Pastor Threet quietly transitioned to be with the Lord at Florida Hospital hospice unit.
He leaves to cherish his memories: A wife: Emily Threet, 4 Daughters:  Tangela Thomas (Carnell), Kimberly Saint Preux (Antoine), Tabitha Matthews (Corey) and Charity Matthews (Leon).  1 son: Preceded him in death, Julius Threet (Yvonne), 15 Grandchldren: Bria Thomas, Taliyah Chester, Emily Matthews, Jordan Thomas, Myles Thomas (deceased), Weston Saint-Preux, Julius Matthews (Sidney), Corey Matthews Jr., Zion Matthews, Tremaine Chester, Trenton Chester, Leon (Champ) Matthews Jr., Tangela Threet and Mirko Konrad along with a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
