Obituary

June Ann Toto, of Everett, MA and Ocala, FL, passed away peacefully at home after a prolonged illness. June was the beloved wife of Peter Toto, for almost 40 years. Together, they spent over 20 years as “snowbirds,” splitting their time between Massachusetts and Florida, before making Ocala their home full time.

June was a loving mother to her daughter, Furnell, and son-in-law Patrick, and a proud grandmother to her cherished granddaughter, Riley, of Newbury, MA. She was predeceased by her parents, Mary A. Riley and Ed Furnell, and is survived by her brother, Ray Riley, her sister Marie Riley, brother-in-law Anthony Toto Jr., sister-in-law Theresa Toto, and her “Big Sis” Anna, along with several nieces, nephews, and many cousins.

June found immense happiness in spending time with her family. She loved shopping, especially for her granddaughter, finding short cuts by driving around parking lots in Florida, cheering on her favorite sports teams, and hearing all about her granddaughter Riley’s adventures and hobbies. Family trips were especially dear to her, particularly the many trips to Disney, Ogunquit, Kennebunkport Maine, and the many other memorable journeys.

June’s love for life, her family, and the simple pleasures will be remembered fondly by all who knew her.

Per her wishes, June will be cremated, and a celebration of her life will be announced at a later date.

June will be deeply missed but forever loved by her family and friends.
