My Mom June Evelyn Wright Sihau Cizauskas passed away Nov 24, 2017, at home with granddaughter & daughter at her side.
Born April 13, 1921 to Harriet & Arthur Wright in Waterbury. She graduated (Leavenworth) high school. Married Albert Sihau & had 2 daughters, Debbie & Lynn. Who she raised alone for many years after Albert’s passing. She remarried later to a wonderful devoted husband Mike Cizauskas, who passed before her.
June worked at SNET as a telephone operator, Miller & Peck (Almays) & in later years as a daycare worker for preschool children; retiring at age 90. She enjoyed fashion and dressed the part. She loved socializing, parties, and anything entertainment. Was an avid singer, performing for many years with Sweet Adeline’s. An involved member of the First Lutheran Church for many years. June had 2 sisters Barbara (Sissy), Helen (Gertie) & 4 brothers Larry, Sam (Milton), Robert (Stubby), & Ed Wright all passed before her. She was also preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Lynn. She leaves behind her daughter, Debbie, 2 grandchildren Hillary & Justin, & several nieces & nephews. Arrangements private. She is greatly missed. Xo.
