Obituary

Buddy was born in Ocala Florida. He graduated from Forest High School in 1971. He graduated from Community College in 1973. Buddy did communication work for a living, including Kennedy Space Center for 26 years. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Lori, two daughters ,Shannon and Stephanie, four sisters, Betty, Mary, Doris and Wanda, three grandsons, and two granddaughters. Buddy loved hunting and fishing. He will be missed by all of us.

    Buddy was a great man and was a like another Dad to me. He loved me and treated me like one of his son’s and I cherish all the great memories we built and shared together. Many of those memories were attributed to us hunting, fishing and deer camp in West Virginia. Buddy loved and served his family in an amazing way! He will be missed beyond measure.

    I remember the first time I met Buddy at deer camp in W.Va, he said his name was Buddy Ray and my response was “Buddy Ray what?” He fit right in, as most guys in W.Va are known by 2 first names and no last name.He was a wonderful person and had a hair trigger when it came to jokes. Speaking for all of the guys at deer camp, we will miss you tremendously. RIP Buddy

    Buddy was a wonderful person to work with. Always helpful with normal everyday work as well as the more difficult issues that often occurred.
    He was pretty calm-natured, and I think his calm demeanor often kept the rest of us calm as well.
    I am honored to have known and worked with him for many years. He will be missed by many.
