Obituary

Justin was born in Melbourne, Florida on August 24, 1992 just after Hurricane Andrew had come ashore in Miami. He graduated from New Smyrna Beach High School in 2010. Justin lived in Port Orange and was studying music at Stetson University in Deland. He was an amazing guitarist and phenomenal singer eagerly pursuing opportunities to share his talent at various locations in New Smyrna Beach, Edgewater, Port Orange, Daytona Beach and anywhere else he went. Justin always brought joy to those around him through his music, talent, and personality and put an amazing effort into everything he pursued. He was an excellent student, a skilled martial artist, and a wonderful and truly inspiring son, brother, grandson, nephew, friend and musician whose powerful voice, amazing talent, and loving disposition will be missed by all.  He is survived by his mother Carrie Hoffmaster, father Jeff Watson, sisters Abrey Hoffmaster, Cherish Watson, Maternal Grandparents Patricia Detec, Lee Hoffmaster, Paternal Grandparents Jack and Jan Watson.   Friends are invited to pay respects and receive a Life Celebration keepsake on Friday December 10 between the hours of 6:45pm and 8:00pm at Baldwin Brothers Heritage Place 1 North Causeway New Smyrna Beach. During this time of great sorrow, may it comfort you to know that others are deeply touched by your loss. I too know the pain of losing someone dear. Even though our hearts are broken, rest assure that our Grand Creator cares about you personally (1 Peter 5:7) and can help you through this difficult time. Revelation 21:4 speaks of a time soon when God will do away with death forever. There will be no more sorrow, heartache, or pain. May your happy memories and sure scriptural hope comfort your hearts during this painful time.

Justin stayed with us many times for the last couple years of High School. He was comfortable enough that he would walk in without knocking.. He was a wonderful young man, with many talents. Most importantly he was a good friend to my children. He loved food and playing music. I just recently had the priviledge of spending time with him while he was teaching my daughter to play the guitar. We had some laughs and hugs, I am so grateful for that. We love you always Justin. I send my deepest sympathy to your family.

My heart is broken. Justin was at my home or my son at his every weekend for years. He and Michael were so close before we moved to Tennessee but always remained friends. Michael truly loved Justin like a brother and is devastated. I have so many wonderful memories of taking "the boys"" to one event or another and the endless arguments about where to order pizza.....Pizza hut or Pappa Johns. Justin liked Pizza Hut. They both were incredibly picky eaters.
Justin I hope that you have found peace and I will never forget you.

Justin you were truly amazing. You were always there for me and always knew how to put a smile on someone's face. Each day with you gone gets worse and worse. I've got so much going on, and I just know that if you were here now, you'd help me pull through this. I know you'd put a smile on my face even though it seems impossible. You touched so many people's lives and you had so many people who loved and cared about you, and since you left us there has been tons of tears shed. It's still hard to believe that you are actually gone and I would do anything to bring you back. Wherever you are now, please watch over me and everyone else in your life. We love you, Justin. May you rest in peace. <3

Justin Watson was an amazing guy. He always made me laugh and he knew how to have fun. I always loved to listen to him sing and play the guitar. Just listening to him play is like just being one on one with him, like no one else is with you but the sounds of him playing bouncing of the walls all around you. Justin you will truly be missed.
