Obituary

Karen A. (Hamilton) Whitney, of Edgewater, FL, passed away Tuesday, August 13th 2013. Originally from Parish, NY she was born on August 11th, 1942, enjoyed traveling, and was a Nascar fan, particularly Jeff Gordon. Her husband, Donald "Roger" Whitney, predeceased her in 1999.  Karen is survived by her son Donald (Bonnie) Whitney of FL, grandchildren Krissy (Will) Dwyer of NY, Don (Jen) Dwyer of CT, Amanda Whitney of NY, Nick Whitney of NY, great-grandchildren Piper and Quincy, extended family and friends. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in Parish, NY at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made in her name to Halifax Health Hospice of Volusia/Flagler.
