Obituary
Karen Burnett, 81, passed away September 30th. Karen was raised in Anderson, Indiana. She was a long-time resident of Chattanooga and spent many years working at the Chattanooga Area Food Bank until she retired. Karen enjoyed organizing and participating in activities in the retirement community in Florida where she lived.
She was proceeded in death by her mother and father George and Theresa Nash, and Sisters Janice and Donnita.
She is survived by daughters Laura Boyers (spouse John) and Jennifer Young (spouse Mike) as well as grandchildren, Travis Burnett, Cody Burnett, Dylan Burnett, David Sharp, Daniel Sharp, Chuck Sharp, Missy Sharp and her great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
The family will be returning her ashes to Tennessee for her final rest. In lieu of flowers, the families ask that donations be made to the American Cancer Society in her honor.
