Dear Dick And family: Thank you for having the presence of mind to have Jeanette contact me lest I missed the Obit. I have so many great memories of our time together at Julian Curtis Schooll. I lived on Greenwich Avenue and she lived on Steamboat Road so we had a route to walk home. (yes, people walked home from school in those olden days.) Sometimes if we happened to have 25 cents we went to the Avenue via Milbank and Mason street and bought a soda at Whelans Drug store and then proceeded down the Avenue first me to the apartment on Greenwich Avenue and the she would make it down under the railroad tressle with Barbara Mann to Davenport Avenue (off Steamboart) past Manero's and then she was home. I will take a ride that way today and think of her as I look toward Island Beach dock and Steamboat and say a prayer for you and her. God Bless.

    Dearest Dick, Kari and Kristi,
Our hearts and prayers are with each of you. Unfortunately we are unable to be with you Sunday due to other commitments. We are sorry that we didn't get to visit with you after our move to Sarasota last year. Our memories are fond of you all from our time at St Paul's in Rye Brook. Karin taught me to say no! What a life giving lesson for me. May our loving God, surround you with His peace during these difficult days and may the hole in your hearts be filled by His presence and love.

I am so sorry to have read of your loss. Please accept my sincere condolences. Something that I have personally found to be of great comfort is what the Bible says at John 5:28,29 and Revelation 21:4. In these verses we see that soon God is going to bring about a resurrection of our loved ones and that he is going to do away with all causes we have for suffering including sickness and death. Knowing this has always comforted me and it is my sincere hope that these thoughts comfort your family as well.
