Obituary
Karl passed away peacefully on May 1, 2020, after a courageous battle with cancer for almost 2 years.
He was born and raised in Montclair, NJ, and was an intelligent, caring, kind, and generous, man. He had stories for days, “Chile”, and his hysterical laugh once he reached the punchline, lasted forever! Karl’s service with the Peace Corps in the beautiful West Indies, was especially memorable, where he touched the lives of all he met, many becoming life-long friends. Karl was most proud of his time in California, mentoring countless youth and young adults. His DEAR “Sister-and-Brother” friends made memories from his years at the College of San Mateo and College of Nairobi, absolutely, unforgettable!! He retired from Ford Motor Company in Virginia Beach, VA, and eventually moved to Kissimmee, FL. Karl loved his entire family and was proud of all they have accomplished, especially his great-niece, Jessica (his on-call tech wizard). Karl is survived by his brother and sister-in-law, Jeffery and Jessica Morse; nephew, Jeffrey Morse; niece, Mia Morse, and great-niece, Jessica Ken-Kwofie, as well as many loyal friends. He is pre-deceased by his parents, Jesse and Thelma Morse.
His family is eternally grateful to Dr. Syrtiller Kabat, Saundra Webster, Richard Pierson, Richard Smiley, and everyone else who always supported him. Karl will be missed by ALL, but his free-spirit and heart of gold will live on forever! May he rest in peace.
