Obituary
Katherine Anne Taylor, 62, died November 23rd of 2021 at her home in Port Charlotte, Florida after a year long battle with leukemia and was surrounded by her family.
Katherine was born on February 27th , 1959 in Lowell Massachusetts. She was raised in Tyngsborough, Massachusetts by her late mother and father, Joseph and Anne Knight and three older brothers Joe Jr, Mike, and Rick. She attended Northern Essex Community College obtaining two associates degrees, one in medical records and one in computer programming where she met her future husband. She married on October 12th 1985 to Glenn Taylor. They raised one daughter, Jennifer Zwack and had three grandchildren Elijah, Olivia and Leon. She moved to Port Charlotte with her husband and daughter in 1989 and opened her home and heart to many people. Katherine worked in the medical field for Florida Cancer Specialists as well as Millenium Physicians Group. She enjoyed going to the beach, creating crafts for her friends and family and spending quality time with her grandchildren who were her pride and joy.
Her family paid this tribute to her, ‘Katherine was one of the kindest people you could ever meet, she cared deeply for all who was in her life and saw the best in everyone. She will be surely missed.’
She is survived by her husband, her daughter and her three grandchildren as well as her three brothers and her nieces and nephews.
A funeral is scheduled for November 9th, 2021, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at St. Maximilian Kolbe Catholic Church with a reception to follow at Baldwin Brothers Funeral Home from 2:30pm to 4:30 pm. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Katherine’s life.
