I was in 2nd grade when Aunt Kathy and my Uncle Donnie were married on September 30th, 1955. I think that was the first time that I met Aunt Kathy and at the time, Aunt Kathy’s little brother, Larry Martin, was in my 2nd grade class. I was sure that Larry and I were now related to each other, now that his Sister had married my Uncle!
I remember that Aunt Kathy was the most beautiful blonde bride that I had ever seen! She could have been a model for a Bride Doll, she was so stunning!
Aunt Kathy was always so sweet to me and she always seemed to love all of us! She was always such a hard worker, caring for my Uncle Donnie and her girls. Aunt Kathy could do it all, she never needed a Handy Man!! I doubt a handy man could have kept up with her when she painted their house one summer!!
Aunt Kathy was my hero and I was always in awe of her many abilities, especially her cooking and frying French Fries every night for my Uncle Donnie for his dinner when he came home from work!!
I love you, Aunt Kathy and we will miss visiting with you and hearing all of your stories of your Family! ❤️

Aunt Kathy was a beautiful lady inside and out. When she married my Uncle Don, she made his family her family. She treated us like we were her own children. She was a great cook and worked hard at everything she did. She had a sweet and compassionate heart towards anyone that was struggling in life. She especially loved children and when we had the pleasure of staying with her family, she made everything fun:) We love and will miss her so much.

Kathy was such a wonderful influence in my life. She was an amazing lady who was so smart, loving and so funny and quick witted. She will always be in my heart. I will always remember our fun adventures and the many things she taught me from cooking, to drinking a little wine to cracking open a coconut, and feeding the manatees. So much more…Peace and love, Kathy
