Obituary
Kathleen “Kathy” Cole Wright, 67, of Ocala, FL was peacefully called to be with the Lord on May 7, 2017, while at Legacy Hospice House, due to advanced dementia. Kathy, being 15 years recovering alcoholic, fought a long battle with dementia. Matthew 25:21 “…Well done, thou good and faithful servant…” Kathy had been a legal secretary at various times. She had been an active member of St. Johns United Methodist Church, Ocala, FL, and had a deep love for gospel music, participating in the church choir and the UMW group. Kathy was lovingly cared for during her last 4 years by Mrs. Josie McNeil of Ocala. She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wright. She is survived by two daughters, Christine Wright of Piqua, OH and Kelly Castner of New Cumberland, PA; step-son, Ian Berdanier (Candice) of Twin Falls, ID; 5 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren and 1 great grandson; sister, Virginia Jaworski of Chepachet, RI; brother, Steven Cole of PA. Special thank you to Mary Coyle, best friend, for all the support, outings and visits, to Betty Gall, guardian and to Josie McNeil, caregiver, for her loving care. Kathleen (Kathy) Wright will be laid to rest alongside her husband, John Wright. Graveside service for Mrs. Wright will be held at 10AM on Saturday, June 24th at St. Johns Cemetery of Cotton Plant (12390 W. Hwy 328, Ocala, FL 34482) adjacent to the St. Johns United Methodist Church with Pastor Christine Webb Officiating.
