Kathy was one of my early friends when I moved to Asheville, NC in 1998. We lost touch after she left NC , but I remember some wonderful times we and a group of girlfriends all had. I also remember Kathy's talent for cooking and getting things done. She left us too soon. I suspect perhaps her lung cancer returned and I hope she was not in too much pain towards the end. Wonderful picture of her above. My sincere sympathy to her brother and the extended family. Jane
