Obituary

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Keith Robert Lowery, age 84, on May 2, 2024. He was born on March 17, 1940 in Damariscotta, Maine. Keith lived a life marked by commitment to his family, a passion for learning, and dedication to his profession.
Upon honorably serving in the United States Army from 1962 to 1964, Keith pursued a career at Allegany Technologies Incorporated, where he rendered 30 years of service in various capacities of leadership. His academic pursuits culminated in a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (1964) and a certification in Financial Planning (1988) from Quinnipiac University.
A man of diverse interests, Keith found joy in the simple pleasures of life: the laughter of his progeny, a well-played round of golf, the tranquility of fishing, the fruit of his garden, the discovery of ancestral roots, the art of photography, and a deep appreciation for the annals of history. He had a special fondness for visiting Maine and always sought to enrich his understanding of the world. His commitment to the Masonic brotherhood spanned a quarter of a century.
Keith was a loving husband to Catherine Nuzzolillo Lowery, a devoted father to Jeffrey Lowery and Phil and Stacey Casparius, and a caring brother to Nancy Lowery. He deeply loved his grandchildren Mat and Ashley Lowery, Ben Casparius and Cate Casparius and cherished time spent with his great-grandchildren Estella and Valen Lowery.

A service to honor Keith’s memory will be held later in the year. The family kindly requests that any gestures of condolence be made in the form of donations to the Cancer Society or St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. His steadfast presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew him.
