Obituary

Kenneth A. Click, age 77, passed away February 22, 2025 at the Tidewell Hospice
House in Port Charlotte, Florida. Ken was born in Marion on October 16, 1947. His
parents were Howard and Gertrude Click, a farming family. He graduated from Pleasant
High School in 1965 and from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of
Science Degree in Education in 1969. In 1983 he earned his Masters in Education from
Bowling Green State University. Ken spent 45 years in the field of education teaching
various subjects, but mainly math. He taught one year in Wood County, twenty-nine at
Pleasant, seven at Mt. Gilead, and eight at Tri-Rivers. While at Pleasant he drove a
school bus for twenty-seven years. He was a community faculty member at Marion
Technical College for fifteen years, teaching Science Orientation and Business Math.

Hobbies he enjoyed were photography, collecting die-cast cars, and working in the yard.
He had a great love of the Indianapolis 500, attending for over 50 years. His favorite
vacation was a cruise on Carnival or Royal Caribbean, having taken over twenty. He
also enjoyed playing Black Jack. Ken attended Trinity Baptist Church.

He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Mary; sons Scott Michael (Natalie) Click,
Findlay, and Kenneth Gregory (Brooke) Click, Perrysburg. He is also survived by five
grandchildren: Carson Click, Dorian Bickhart, Julia Click, Madie Click, and Bella Click.
Also surviving are his brother George (Jan) Click, and sister Jean (John) Freshour.
Preceding him in death were his parents and sister-in-law Mary Ann Click.

A Celebration of Life will held on April 26, 2025 at Trinity Baptist Church in Marion, Ohio.
Friends may call from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM with the service officiated by Pastor Daniel
McCoy to follow at noon. A luncheon in Fellowship Hall at the church will follow the
service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to Trinity Baptist Church, 220 South
Main Street, Marion, Ohio 43302

    I am so sorry for the loss of Ken. He was a large influence on many kids (myself included). Patience was a trait he definitely showed having to put up with the neighbors... He will be missed by many but someday we'll meet again.
