Obituary
Kenneth James Receveur was born in Indianapolis, IN on September 20, 1971. He died at Sarasota Memorial Hospital on January 31. 2024. Kent was our son, brother, Dad, & Uncle Bubby & a certified badass. He had the best, most infectious laugh & gave the best hugs. He loved to hunt, fish, boat & ride his dream Harley. He loved fiercely & lived life absolutely on his own terms. He was as stubborn as they come, loved to prove people wrong, a control freak, a little rude & crude, but would do anything for those he loved. He gave the ultimate gift of his organs & tissues to several recipients. We are honored to help him to live on in others, as he had so much more life to live. Ride free Kent. We will miss you & love you forever. A memorial will be held in Indiana at a later date.

My Handsome Bubby!! I love you so much!!
There is absolutely no words that can describe the emptiness I feel knowing we will never get to see your beautiful smile or hear your voice or receive the most amazing hug again. I miss you so much Bubby. I love you so much. You were my first friend! My first enemy! The best Uncle Bubby! You always protected us ! I don’t know how to manage this painful void in my heart.
You are all in my thoughts and prayers ❤️
