Obituary
Kenneth John Way, “Kenny”, 66, entered into the presence of Our Lord on Friday, October 17th 2025, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Even though cancer took him from this world, his loving heart left behind a beacon of light for those he loved deeply. “Kenny’s kind and loving nature bestowed a legacy of love into the lives of those who knew him.” “I will forever cherish all of the fond memories I have”.
Kenneth joins his mom, Peggy. His stepdad, Ken, and two brothers, Clifford and David in heaven. He is survived by his son, Kenneth Scott Way, his daughter-in-law, Stephanie, his Grandson, Rory, and his soulmate Susan Way…Kenny also leaves behind his family of good friends… Douglas Simpson, Kyle & Dana, their two sons, Landon & Carter, Clayton & Katie, Trish, Butch, Frank, and so many others.
Kenneth was a Glazer by trade, and he enjoyed his many years working in that profession. For the past several decades, some of the most treasured traditions in Kenny’s life were his annual trips to Daytona Beach for Bike Week, Biketober Fest, and to where speed makes history, the prestigious “Daytona 500” NASCAR races, held at the renowned Daytona International Speedway… Kenny was also deeply passionate about Sunday football. He was a devoted fan after he loyally tuned into his favorite church services, each week, on Sunday mornings.
One of Kenny’s favorite Bible verses was: Exodus 23:20, “I am sending an angel ahead of you to guard you along the way and to bring you to the place I have prepared.”
“Kenny, you are, and always will be greatly missed by all those you leave behind”…”May God keep you in His perfect love, and forever bless you.”

God sent you to me for a reason. I was young and didnt have a father figure in my life at that time. You stood up and took that role on. You taught me aspects of life that I didnt know. Now instead of smoke rolling out of the house from burning food it is tasteful smells. You said " I was a flower waiting to bloom". Thanks to you pushing me I have bloomed. Because of you I was able to have my dad back in my life before GOD called him home. You have touched my life in many ways, I will never forget. The races and bike weeks are not going to be the same with out you. I will cherish all thos times spent with you and Sassy.
Much Love from me and the girls we miss you and sassy dearly.
I'm so grateful that God blessed my life when he put you in it. I truly believe we had the perfect son together and the world was blessed again...
I know in our younger days we were both quite off track (Hell on wheels) in our journeys through life. Quite misguided by our rash decisions and self driven bad choices... but with God's unending love, patience and guidance... and thankfully, with our repentance of or sins... lives changed.. For many wonderful years, I've been so thankful, grateful and blessed by the man you grew up to be.
I missing you... with great love ~
Susan
