Obituary

Kenneth J. Morin, Sr. (78) passed peacefully surrounded by his family on August 28, 2016 in Ormond Beach, FL. He was a resident of Ormond Beach, FL at the time of his death. He was born on August 5, 1938, the first son of Kenneth and Elizabeth (Beland) Morin. He was married to Ruth Morin for 56 years. Ken was a kind, gentle, peaceful and caring person who was loved by everyone. His sense of humor touched those he met and always made people smile.

Kenneth attended Hudson High School and was a member of the boys’ soccer team. He proudly served his country as a member of the US National Guard for five years and then one year in the US Army Reserves. When he was younger he loved to fish. Ken also liked to read, make models, follow sports, watch movies and television. He loved to spend time with his family. Ken worked as a shoe maker, machinist and as a hardware store manager.

Ken is survived by his wife of 56 years Ruth (Krouse) Morin, his sons Kenneth Morin Jr. and his wife Lynn of Southborough, MA, Wayne Morin of Ormond Beach, FL and Chris Morin and his wife Lynne of Palm Harbor, FL, his three grandchildren Stefan, Corey and Tyler Morin all of Southborough, MA and his siblings Karen Konetzny and Cathy Mitchell. He is predeceased by his brother Robert Morin.
