Obituary
Kenneth Karl Kusterman (Ken, Kenny) passed away peacefully in the early morning on March 3, 2021. Kenneth was born on July 29, 1940 in Milwaukee, WI to Karl and Gladys Kusterman. The family moved to Jacksonville, FL in April of 1955. He married his wife Bertha and they celebrated their 60th anniversary in December 2020. Kenneth was also a 32nd degree Mason of 50 years.
Kenneth graduated from EI Dupont in Jacksonville and began a career in sales. From cars, to furniture, artwork, store fixtures, and even vacuum cleaners there was not much he couldn’t sell. However, he found his passion in motorcycles early on and stayed in that industry for most of his life. Cyclecore was where he was his happiest as it was his own company and one that he built from the ground up to be successful at selling parts and accessories. It also allowed his family to be involved in every aspect, including trips to CA for tradeshows. Motorcycles were his passion followed closely by cars. He loved attending and then watching every race he could. Only his dogs and grandchildren took precedence. His grandchildren allowed the softer side of him to come out and he always enjoyed their visits to Florida. Even the grandkids’ friends would join on visits and they also loved Pawpaw.
Kenneth is predeceased by his parents and sister Lynne Kusterman Collore. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Mizell Kusterman, his son, Greg Kusterman (Melissa) of Neptune Beach, FL, his grandchildren, Kristopher Kusterman and Kara Kusterman of Charlotte, NC, and grandchildren by marriage, Joshua Vidoli (Heather) and Joe Vidoli of Jacksonville, FL. He is also survived by his sister, Kathy Kusterman Martin of Santa Rosa Beach, FL.
His family will have a private gathering and will celebrate his life in April where stories will be shared! In lieu of flowers the family request donations to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
