Obituary
Kenyon Sangdahl, 49, passed peacefully in his sleep on September 25, 2020 in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. He was born April 2, 1971, in Cleveland, Ohio. Kenyon was employed as a Construction Project Manager for several prominent general contractors after graduating from Bowling Green State University with a BS in Geology. His hobbies were wood working, home renovation and cooking. But most of all he enjoyed spending time with friends and family. As we celebrate a life well lived, remember that Kenyon had a wonderful sense of humor. He was also a great friend to many, with a sympathetic ear and kind heart. He will truly be missed. Kenyon was preceded in death by his father Robert F. Sangdahl Sr. and his brother Lauritz Eriksen (Eric) Sangdahl (Mary Jane). Kenyon is survived by his mother Patricia L. Sangdahl, siblings Abby (Ed) Frost, Chris (Ritva) Sangdahl, John (Lou) Sangdahl and Robert (Tina) Sangdahl, his daughter Caitlin Elizabeth Sangdahl (19) and his former wife Wendy Sangdahl. Kenyon is also survived by his partner for the last 10 years, Colleen Clasen Blong, their daughter Lennox Sangdahl (8) and their shared family of Devin (29), Bennett (21), Madeline (19), Ethan (18) and Thomas (16) as well as several cousins, nieces and nephews. Due to the current pandemic, there will not be a gathering at this time. The family will make arrangements for a celebration at a time and location to be determined.
